Woodhouse Spas are seeking an experienced Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team. As a Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for providing a luxurious and restorative experience for our guests while helping them enhance their overall well-being.
MASSAGE THERAPIST POSITION
- Classification: Part-Time up to 32 hours per week
- Weekends Required
EDUCATION
- Active IL State Massage Therapy License required
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude and
- friendly demeanor.
- Strives to receive additional continuing education to stay the best in their profession.
- Experience with hospitality and providing exceptional customer service
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES::
- Performs exceptional massages and body treatments following award winning protocols
- Fully prepares each and every treatment based on our treatment criteria
- Educates the guest on the benefits of the service performed and recommends products for home use.
- Talks up all the other great services we offer and provides enhancement treatments
- Has an up to date massage license for the state of Illinois.
- Provide excellent guest services and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area according to current State Board regulations.
- Utilize salon software to manage client information.
- Works well with other Team Members, Managers, and interact with our guests
- Must comply with all company policies and procedures
- Regular and consistent attendance is required to perform the essential functions of this position
- Exercises good judgment and makes decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals.
- Communicate effectively with guests, managers, and team members
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to stand and bend over for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Must be able to perform multiple services during shift
